Our Story
Captain Prem Bahadur Regmi in Nepal Army uniform
Captain Prem Bahadur Regmi (1922–2014) of the Nepal Army, whose orchards began this farm.

Two hundred years of family soil.

The land beneath this farm has belonged to the Regmi family for more than two centuries — since our ancestors journeyed from Bajhang in Nepal's far west and settled these hills of Nuwakot. In 1973, the late Captain Prem Bahadur Regmi of the Nepal Army and his wife Mana Kumari Regmi planted the first orchards on this ancestral hillside: mango, lychee, banana, papaya, lemon — even macadamia and avocado.

The farm rose into prominence as a local landmark. As Nepal changed and its founders' health declined, the farm went quiet — but the protected hillside kept growing greener. In 2020, the Captain's sons returned to revive it as a living, working model of organic farming and forest stewardship.
