How do I book a stay or day visit?

What are the rooms like?
Simple, clean, and comfortable rooms in the restored farmhouse, with attached bathrooms and space for couples, families, and small groups. This is a heritage farm stay, not a hotel — expect character, quiet, and real dark-sky nights.
What's included in meals?
Authentic Nepali food cooked over the wood fire, built around what the farm grows: our own vegetables, eggs, dairy, and seasonal fruit from the orchards. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes are available — tell us about any dietary needs when you book.
How do we get there, and what's the road like?
The farm is about a 2-hour drive from Kathmandu, with three road routes into Madanpur. The final stretch is a hill road — most vehicles manage fine in dry seasons, but during monsoon we recommend calling ahead so we can advise on the best route that week and arrange a pickup if needed.
Is the farm suitable for children and older family members?
Very much so — families are a big part of who visits. Children love the animals, the orchards, and the open lawn; do keep in mind the terrain is a working hillside farm, so comfortable shoes help everyone.
Is there electricity, water, and phone signal?
Yes — the farm has electricity and piped water (with the family's traditional stone spring, the pandhero, as a time-honored backup). Mobile signal reaches the farm; it's remote enough to feel away from it all, but not cut off.
How do payments work?
Payment details are confirmed when you book — just ask us on the call and we'll explain the options. No deposit is taken through this website, and we will never ask for card details over WhatsApp.
